Music Business Group

A statement from the Music Business Group.
As an active member of the Music Business Group, the Academy fully endorses this important industry statement on format-shifting.  Our argument for there to be compensation for rights holders echoes what is common practice across almost the whole of Europe.  Our shared industry position should be welcome news to a Government which has long asked for ‘a single voice’ to represent the music industry.  While this may not always be achievable, at least there is now a single place to which the Government can come to engage with the commercial side of the music industry.
