Born on January 6th 1975, Greig started to write songs from the early age of 14. With numerous previous endeavours, and forays into the world of music, in different shapes and sizes, Greig is now working as a Songwriter/Producer and Publisher, and he is starting to build a name for himself within the industry.
2007 Onwards............
In the summer of 2006, set up DWB MUSIC LTD, by joining forces with Paul Drew and Pete Barringer. DWB is a songwriting partnership, as well as a Production team and Publishing Company. Now representing their own songs, as well as songs by other writers, DWB are placing tracks and having hits around the globe, with artists such as, Natalia (SONY/BMG), Elin (EDEL), Tohoshinki (AVEX), Reborn (ARS/EMI/AVEX), Clouseau (EMI) and many more........
2005
Signed to Diablo Music Publishing as a Writer/Publisher. Managing a number of strong writing teams, who have written tracks for artists such as, Heinz Winckler(South African Pop Idol), Shebang (Sweden), Linda Maxx (Sweden), twen2y 4 se7ven (UK), D- Side (UK), Ivana Banfic (Croatia) Katerine (Belgium) amongst others, as well as writing with other writers signed to 19. Also made a re-appearance as a performing artist, as a member of the "Trophy Boyz", releasing the Liverpool football tribute song, Du The Dudek!
2004
Joined forces with writer/producer, Paul Drew, signed to Diablo Music, as well as continuing to work with Mark Frisch, where both teams started to place tracks worldwide. Built knowledge of Publishing Contracts because of the contracts offered for own songs. Established a network of connections with Writers/Publishers/Record Companies/Artists by building relationships and offering good quality songs.
2003
Worked on writing and recording several tracks with Katie Lewis, from Fame Academy which were performed on tours with artists such as Liberty X, Lemar and Sinead Quinn. As well as starting a new collaboration with Russian company Familia Publishing Ltd, and their high profile, resident writer on Russian Fame Academy, Alexander Shulgin (2 MTV Number 1's With Russia's Popstars). Also writing for artists such as TEAZE, KT Walters and BN3, managed by Raw Management.
Early 00's
Started new UK based, co-writing partnership, with Mark Frisch. As well as, Co-writing and recording across the atlantic with U.S. writer, Jimmy Pell which resulted in receiving lots of interest from Publishers and artists, especially in the track, Each Beat Of Your Heart.
1998-99
Established GJV productions with Vince Taylor and John Crockford. Major works include Dont Leave and Rainbow. Vast experience of production work was gained during this period, writing and producing artists such as, Olivia Wallace and Philli Lopez. Came an unfortunate second in the race for the James Bond theme for "The World Is Not Enough".
1997
Wrote & recorded as a solo artist, recording Forgive Me Or Forget Me (which was later published), at Dave Mackay (Bee Gees, Cliff Richard, Bonnie Tyler, John Farnham) Factory Sound Studio.
In the Mid 90's
Writer and performing artist in the Pop/Dance group "la Confidance" who Secured a record deal, received extensive radio play, and were trained to sing by the highly acclaimed Sybil Esmore (Barrymore and Pavarotti's Vocal Coach). Had song recorded by Bobbi Jackson, (Cousin of Michael Jackson). Also became a member of PRS-MCPS.
