Biography

Emily is eighteen years of age and has already written a collection of pop and folk songs.

Musically she cut her teeth, both in singing and instrumentally, through the usual channels of school, King's, Winchester and Westminster, county and national ensembles. As part of her A Level work she learnt composition and orchestral works.

She plays the flute, piccolo, violin, guitar and keyboard. She has sung with a number of choirs, but has initiated a solo career singing her songs while accompanying herself. In musical theatre she has been one of Noah's sons in Noyes Fludde and Sweeney's wife in Sweeney Todd. She has performed live on radio and TV, and her two performances at The Kashmir Club have gone out live on the Internet. National publicity ensued when she attempted to join Winchester Cathedral Choir at the age of eleven.

In 2001 Emily spent seven months travelling around the world with her Fender guitar. She learnt Indonesian on her travels. At the moment she is studying medicine at Imperial College, London and, of course, is still hoping for that number one hit!
