Biography

Steve started his musical career at school, forming a band at the age of 14. He has worked as a sound engineer in London working on films such as: Let It Be, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Lindsay Andersson's If & Husbands with John Cassavetes.

In the mid 70s he moved to Sweden where he established himself as one of the top composers for advertising and TV production in Scandinavia. His credits include commercials for: H&M, Carlsberg, Coca Cola, Volvo, Läkerol & Ikea as well as TV drama and entertainment series for: SVT, TV3, TV4 & DR.

In 1984 Steve started Match Production Music. Over the next 12 years Match became one of the biggest independent production music libraries in the world with it's own production offices in California, London, Stockholm, Copenhagen & Oslo. In 1996 Steve sold the company to BMG. Since that time he has remained with the company as a producer and one of it's most successful composers with a string of credits including:

Friends, Neighbours, Cold Feet, Coronation Street, Cosby Show, Hollyoaks, ITN News, CNN, Late Show, American Idol, Eurotrash, Saturday Night Live, Shirley Valentine, Norma Jean & Marilyn, Ladybird Ladybird, Auf Wiedersehen Pet.

These days Steve splits his time between Stockholm & London where he still writes & produces and Antigua where he has a home and is building a recording studio.
