Biography
I was born in London in 1973, and have been an active and enthused composer for most of my life, embracing many varied opportunities to write and arrange music for a range of purposes, including education, music, theatre, recitals and academic reasons, and for the continued commitment to producing live performance.
My medium is mostly instrumental music, and actively exploited this genre in many guises as the list below would indicate. At university I studied the more orthodox composition methodology that allowed for a wide musical language to be explored in addition to my own aesthetic values and interests, crossing ensemble, timbre, tonal and temporal systems. However I feel that it is necessary to not relate myself specifically to one particular form/style, especially in light of the wide range of the recent commissioned work I have undertaken.
I welcome commissions from a wide range of sources and backgrounds, for a wider range of media, purposes and occasions. I feel that is important to embrace diversity and convention with equal enthusiasm.
