Biography

Leigh Haggerwood is an experienced composer and musician based in London, UK. He began creating melodies at the age of seven and was gigging with his own band by the time he was fifteen. For eight years, he toured the world as a professional musician and eventually signed publishing and recording contracts with major labels. The experience of working with other musicians and understanding different instruments has been an important part of Leigh's development, enabling him to write music for any instrument in any style. This, along with his evolving production and sound engineering skills, has enabled him to produce many world class recordings. 

Leigh has been writing music for the TV and film industry for several years. His flair for strong melodies and network of top session musicians has enabled him to create many memorable pieces of music with credits including Jamie's School Dinners, Petrolheads, Trinny and Susannah and Sainsbury's to name but a few. He has written songs for stage shows and is experienced in orchestral scoring to picture - some examples of which can be found on his website at: www.ukcomposer.com
