Biography

I am a classically trained composer and graduated in 1995 at the Birmingham Conservatoire. I have been composing for Films and TV Promo work for 2 years (full time) and have gained essential experience in the Media/Composition sector of the industry.


My work has mainly been orchestral with variations on that theme integrating sound-scapes, rhythmic groove templates, pop-material, and edgy sound designing to match the mood and style of the film/project.

I am currently working on some orchestral cues for a main USA production company for TV usage and hopefully composing the music for my first feature film next year.

Working with a real orchestra (or real ensembles) is what I'd like to do more of but currently (as £££ budget constraints) work with the latest and most professional orchestral samples in the industry - the Vienna syphonic library and true-strike.

I have also started my 3rd Concert piece - orchestral this time - and will be submitting this in as many competitions as I can in 2007.
