Biography

Nick Ingman was born and educated in London. He spent three years in America at the Berklee School of Music and the New England Conservatory of Music, both in Boston. His post-graduate studies took place with Dr Edmund Rubbra at the Guildhall School of Music. After a short stint as Assistant Producer to record producer Norrie Paramor, Nick became a freelance composer, arranger and conductor and has worked steadily in the London music scene ever since covering a wide range of skills and interests.

Nick Ingman has worked as an arranger and conductor for such artists as Madonna, George Michael, Cliff Richard, Diana Ross, Manic Street Preachers, Portishead, Whitney Houston, Texas, Rod Stewart, Gabrielle, Catatonia, Blur, Paul McCartney and David Bowie.

Nick's work as an arranger has accounted for 13 Number One singles in the UK and several double platinum albums, including Sinead O'Connor, Lighthouse Family, Wet Wet Wet, Oasis, Sade, Eric Clapton and Robbie Williams.

Nick has regularly worked with the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Chamber Orchestra.

As an orchestrator and conductor he has worked on such films as Mansfield Park, An Ideal Husband, Shakespeare in Love, Ronin, G.I.Jane and The Saint
