Biography

A Ugandan born in 1976, Stephen concentrated on Songwriting after deciding to quit a Diploma course in Art and Design with Education.

He says that he didn't feel any dedication to what he was then destined to become - a Secondary School Art and Design teacher. Earlier on at the age of 16 he had made vows to himself that wherever he would go and whatever he would do he had to end up as a Musician - signed and sealed! He followed his heart!

In 1999 he teamed up with Theresa Wroe from Oldham, Manchester (check www.teetime-productions.co.uk), through The Guild Of International Songwriters and Composers of Great Britain. The collaboration is still going on and growing stronger.

Stephen started working seriously as a visual Artist to support his music career. A lot has gone on through the years with frustrations dominating.

In 2005 he managed to secure a place at The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, London, check www.icmp.uk.com , for a Diploma in Pop Music Performance-Vocals which he completed in December 2006.

In July 2007 Stephen and Theresa teamed up with Cheryl Aster, a talented Singer/Songwriter from Yorkshire (check www.cherylaster.com http://www.myspace.com/cherylaster). Cheryl Aster is one who combines beauty, ambition, a beautiful voice, outgoing and hardworking personalities.

Probably many singers have those qualities but lack patience, the skills to be a fast implementer, and the drive to succeed and stay at the top for as long as life can allow. Cheryl wins here! This best explains why Stephen and Theresa, who have been together for 8 years now, are very much interested in keeping the relationship for as long as they can.

The first studio sessions for Cheryl were a success. "I Beg You" and "Faith Lives Forever" were the outcome. They went on to record "He's Where My Heart Belongs" and "I'm Tearing Apart" which brought out well Cheryl's musical ability to deal with the different syles. That lead to an agreement to make an album!!

Cheryl's album of 10 songs is now finished and mastered at Motion Studio http://www.myspace.com/motionstudio by Alan Van Kleef.

Now Stephen, Theresa and Cheryl are looking for a good manager, a publisher and a label to licence their mastered album to.

Hopefully the best will come out of this team in the near future. Let's keep an eye on them.
