Biography
Julian started playing the piano at seven. By 7.15, the neighbours had heard enough, but he carried on anyway, knowing that music would be his life...
Since studying music at the University of Leeds, Julian has enjoyed a colourful career as a musician, switching between the roles of performer, educator and composer with all the grace of an inebriated elephant.
Touring with various bands has seen him play to to sellout crowds around Europe, as well as numerous theatres and other venues across the UK. His experiences playing in Eastern Europe can only be described as the closest he wants to get to the mafia.
As a composer Julian is carefully waiting for the right moment to dominate the world with his music. His work has been used in a variety of media, including (in the UK) radio, television, corporate, and the internet. Among his most recent projects are songs for themed children's programs, and co-writes with various DJ's in the UK. He recently celebrated the release of a cut by singer Jess Carroll, and has contributed more material to her forthcoming album.
His interests include yoga, travel and jumping out of planes.
Julian looks forward to continuing his musical development, and is excited about new opportunities emerging in the near future.
