Biography
Toby Bricheno writes bespoke music for televsion, film and radio.
He has specialised for the last ten years in commercial and production music, including campaigns for FCUK, Mastercard, American Express, The Guardian and Oil of Olay, as well as writing cutting-edge dance and pop albums for KPM Music.
An honours graduate in composition of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, he has also collaborated with numerous bands producing, remixing and co-writing several NME and XFM singles of the week.
As a result of his eclectic background, his music covers a vast area of styles and genres, from contemporary sound design to film music, including Nick Hornby's High Fidelity and many TV themes: Wife Swap, Clive Anderson's The Sharp End and The Jeremy Kyle Show as well as documentaries such as Nova and BBC's Horizon.
Toby co-authored the acclaimed Pop Music: The Textbook (Peters Edition) and is currently working on his second book.
