Academy Recordings Limited (ARL) is a recorded music distribution company, wholly owned by the British Academy of Composers & Songwriters and operating exclusively in the digital download domain.

Access to the services offered by the company is limited to Professional Members of the Academy only. Composers and songwriters from all genres will have equal access.

As a company, ARL runs on a not for profit basis, only deducting from distributions such income as it requires to cover administration costs and returning any surplus to contributing members on a pro rata basis.
